NEW YORK MAGAZINE commissioned this typographic illustration for Carl Swanson’s article, “Are We Still Living in 1993?” which examines the continuing impact of that pivotal year in our current world view. I mostly relied on an analog, handmade process (you can see bits of adhesive tape and x-acto cut marks), adding color at the final digital stage.
