GLEN HELFAND was invited to be a guest curator at Mills College Art Museum. He chose “Particulate Matter” as his theme, and highlighted contemporary work that is formed from an accumulation of small, discreet parts, either chaotic or organized. The design employed its own accumulation of dots, both sharp and hazy, to build a visual vocabulary.
