Suggested Time is a collaboration between myself and colleague Andy Mattern, a fine art photographer based in Oklahoma. We had been following and discussing each others’ work for years, and relished this opportunity to work together on our own project. Rather than showcasing our completed photo series, the book housed a visual conversation and jocular antagonism. The content, including an actual boxing match in the book’s center, was created from side projects, personal collections, and unclassified sketches. The final book was self-published and hand bound in a limited series of five book dummies.
